Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Lewes seeks an experienced Control Systems Engineer to design and maintain software and hardware for control systems. You will implement control algorithms, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards. A degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in PLC programming are essential, along with problem-solving skills. The role offers a 37.5-hour workweek with 22 holiday days. Travel may be required for installations and client support.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in electrical systems and control panel design.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control algorithms using Siemens STEP 7 programming.
• Develop and maintain control panel systems and electrical wiring designs.
• Troubleshoot system issues and conduct tests and evaluations.

Skills

Proficiency in electrical systems and control panel design

Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
