Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd seeks a skilled Control Systems Engineer in the Manchester area. The role is hybrid, blending office time, customer site visits, and remote work, with travel to client locations as needed.

You will design, program, integrate and commission control systems across varied projects, primarily using Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms. The position requires 3+ years in the field and relevant engineering qualifications, with travel to customer sites expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualifications (degree, C&G, NVQ etc)
• Competent using Siemens and Allen Bradley products
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols
• Based in the Manchester area and willing to travel to customers

Responsibilities

• Split time between office, customer sites and home.
• Work on control systems design, programming, integration and commissioning for various customer projects.
• Interact with a variety of control systems, predominantly Siemens and Allen-Bradley architectures.
• Travel to customer sites as required by projects.

Control Systems Engineer

Manchester

£45,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

Hybrid + customer site travel

We're looking for a knowledgeable Control Systems Engineer to join a growing team in the Manchester area. This is a hybrid role, where you will split your time between the office, customer sites and home. In this role you will work on various customer projects from control systems design, programming, integration and commissioning. Due to the varied nature of customer projects, you will interact with a variety of control systems, but mostly create new control systems using both Siemens and Allen Bradley based architecture. Projects will include material handling, food & beverage, brewing, chemical and more.

• Based in the Manchester area and willing to travel to customers
