Job summary

Wynne Consulting in Reading is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to lead the design, development and commissioning of advanced automation solutions. You will steer full project lifecycle delivery and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

A degree in Control/Automation/Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required; you will develop PLC/SCADA/HMI software with vendors such as Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi and Schneider, and commission systems in live environments.

Qualifications

Degree in Control/Automation/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong project engineering and client-facing skills.
Experience in sectors like Food, Utilities, FMCG, Process or Materials Handling.

Responsibilities

Lead full project lifecycle delivery.
Develop PLC/SCADA/HMI software (Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider).
Produce specs, design docs and reports.
Commission systems in live environments.
Work across multidisciplinary teams and maintain high engineering standards.
