Jonathan Lee Group is recruiting a Control Systems Engineer for a Plymouth-based role within a well-established manufacturer serving aerospace, wind and automotive sectors. You will design and develop PLC-based control systems for manufacturing machinery, program and modify control software, and contribute to the full project lifecycle from concept through delivery.

• Relevant engineering qualification such as a degree, HNC, HND or apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience.
• Practical commercial/industrial experience in control systems, automation, electrical/electronic engineering or a closely related role.
• Experience developing or working with PLC-based control systems.
• Experience with industrial automation and machinery control.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to develop accurate, practical engineering solutions.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of innovative equipment for a variety of industry sectors including aerospace, wind and automotive industry sectors. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing controls software for manufacturing equipment, providing technical support to engineers & customers and managing system projects from initial concept through to delivery.

Control Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and develop control systems for specialist manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Develop, program and modify PLC-based control systems
