Job summary

TipTopJob in the East Midlands (near Leicester) is seeking an experienced Control Software Engineer to design and code PLC and HMI software for automation projects, and to deliver electrical and machine control system solutions across UK sites.

The role requires at least 5 years of software design and PLC experience with Omron, Siemens and Allen-Bradley hardware, familiarity with ePlan, and ability to travel to customer sites; a degree in electrical/electronic engineering is preferred, with a

Qualifications

At least 5 years' experience in software design and PLC coding.
Experience with Omron, Siemens and Allen-Bradley equipment advantageous.
Degree level in electrical/electronic engineering or related control discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

Write and develop software, PLC and HMI code for automation projects.
Responsible for electrical design and machine control system solutions for automated machinery.
Ensure control and safety systems comply with machinery directives and standards.
Create circuit diagrams, cable schedules, installation documents and BOMs.
Coordinate with customers and suppliers; travel to UK sites as required.
