Control Room Operator

Shift pattern: 6 on/4 off. x2 Earlies (Apply online only), x2 Lates (1400–2200), x2 Nights (Apply online only)), 4 Off.

Location: Exeter EX1

Salary: £28,100 + overtime opportunities (at 1.5x)

Do you have strong customer service skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced control room environment? Based in Exeter, you will join a professional control room team at a state-of-the-art 24/7 control room which monitors sites across the UK. If you have a strong work ethic with a passion for customer service and professionalism, then this could be the role for you.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Willing to work the specified shift pattern: 6 on/4 off (x2 Earlies, x2 Lates, x2 Nights, 4 Off)
  • Strong administration skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a professional manner

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a small team responsible for monitoring client premises across the UK
  • Operate systems in a professional manner
  • Operate remote monitoring systems
  • Respond to emergency situations professionally
  • Liaise with emergency services when required
  • Remain vigilant to threats and risks
