Job Opportunity: Control Panel/Test Engineer

Superior Recruitment Group is collaborating with a key client based in St Helens, Merseyside, to find a Control Panel/Test Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation panels/systems both in-house and on-site as required.
2. Ensure all work is completed to specifications and within deadlines.
3. Liaise with customers on-site to ensure the successful completion of work.
4. Assist in building and wiring control panels when necessary.
5. Attend sites to modify existing or new panels as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection certification.
• City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition certification.
• Time-served electrician or instrumentation technician.
• Experience in testing industrial control panels, on-site installation, commissioning, instrumentation, and control panel wiring.
• Experience with small bore pipe pressure testing.
• Knowledge of 3-phase systems, MCC control panels, PLC systems, and schematic drawings.
