Control Panel/Equipment Test Engineer

Location: St. Helens

Main Responsibilities
  1. Inspection, Test and Commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation panels / systems in house and on site if required.
  2. To carry out Inspection, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation panels / systems in house and on site as required.
  3. To ensure all work is completed to specification and deadlines.
  4. To liaise with the customer on site to ensure completion of the works.
  5. To assist in the building and wiring of control panels when required.
  6. Attend sites to complete modifications to existing / new panels when required.
Experience and Qualifications
  • City & Guilds- 2391 Test & Inspection.
  • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition.
  • Time served electrician/instrument technician.
  • Experience of testing industrial control panels, on site installation work, commissioning of systems, instrumentation and control panel wiring.
  • Small bore pipe pressure testing.
  • Knowledge and understanding of 3 phase systems, MCC control panels, PLC systems and schematics drawings.
