We are seeking a Control Panel Design Project Engineer for a leading designer and manufacturer of control panels for the HVAC/BMS industry at their offices in Slough (relocation package available).

Essential Key Skills:

• Control Panel Design Experience
• Eplan – essential
• Design of motor control centres/control panels (Form 2 – Form 4) to IEC61439-1 standards
• HVAC / PLC Controls with expertise in Trend BMS / PLC systems, including software writing using SET, TCP/IP, BACNET, Modbus communications
• Electrical knowledge of 400v systems, including 3-phase and single-phase motors, motor starting techniques (DOL, ASD, Frequency Inverter)

Salary: Circa £45,000 – £50,000 with benefits, car allowance, and relocation package if required.

Location:

Slough SL1 6JT – relocation package available.

Role Overview:

Design and project engineering of Control Panels for the HVAC/BMS industry, managing a small team and contributing to the management team. Occasional site visits for commissioning and project meetings.

Additional Key Skills:

• Experience with Trend / Honeywell software, IQ Vision / Niagara platform
• Networking and control panel drawing skills using EPlan P8 with Pro Panel & Process wire modules
• Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Project management skills, including handling profit and loss
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Electrical knowledge of 400v systems and motor control design
