Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Control Panel Design Engineer in Kington, Herefordshire. The successful candidate will design control panels, generate documentation with EPLAN, and support the team while travelling for testing and commissioning across the UK.

A formal electrical/engineering qualification is required, with experience in MCCs and CAD tools preferred. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and a full driving licence; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

Formal Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualification is essential.
Experience designing Control Panels and MCCs is desirable.
Experience using CAD design packages is desirable.
Knowledge of electrical components, circuits and systems is essential.
Experience in hazardous area design is desirable.

Responsibilities

Design control panels in accordance with customer and industry standards.
Produce documentation packs using EPLAN Design Software.
Provide technical support to other team members.
Inspect and test control panels following internal procedures.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing; travel may be required within the UK.
On-site commissioning with potential travel and overnight stays.
