Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions has a client in Bedfordshire seeking a Control Panel Builder to construct and wire high-quality panels for bespoke industrial equipment in a hands-on workshop.

You will read electrical schematics, perform testing and quality checks, and work in small-batch production with regular overtime and progression opportunities. Monday–Thursday 7:30-16:00, Friday finish. Salary £35,000–£41,000 + overtime, bonus, healthcare.

Monday – Thursday 7:30-4:00pm / 12:00pm Friday Finish

Do you have experience building control panels within an industrial environment? Are you looking to join a market-leading manufacturing company offering high variation, craftsmanship, and a chance to work on specialised industrial equipment?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well respected, international, bespoke machinery build manufacturer. In this hands-on, workshop-based role, you will focus on the precision construction and wiring of high-quality control panels for custom industrial process equipment. Additional training will be provided, and there is regular overtime available to boost your earnings.

The company have a proven track record of developing and promoting their staff internally, with plenty of routes to progression within the business.

This role would suit someone with electrical panel construction experience, looking to join a leading manufacturer in a varied, small-batch role offering training, progression, and regular overtime.

The Role:

• Custom control panel building and electrical assembly for industrial equipment
• Small-batch production requiring high variation and craftsmanship
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
• Testing and quality checking of bespoke electrical panels

The Candidate:

• Experience in control panel building, industrial electrical assembly, or a similar hands-on electrical role
• Confident reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Passion for precision craftsmanship and small-batch manufacturing
• Looking for a technical role with progression
