Job summary

Bridges Electrical Engineers is seeking a Production Installation Engineer to support the manufacture and testing of control panels and MCCs. You will build and wire panels, prepare materials, and interpret drawings for compliant installations across UK projects.

The role requires panel building and testing experience, with site installation considered desirable. You will work with a safety-focused team, following RAMS and maintaining high workshop standards.

Qualifications

• Panel building experience and ability to wire MCCs.
• Experience with testing and fault finding on electrical panels.
• Site installation experience is desirable.
• Solid understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build, wire and assemble control panels and MCCs from drawings.
• Prepare components and tools for production and installation.
• Interpret project docs to meet design requirements and standards.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and fault-finding activities.
• Carry out quality checks and inspections per industry standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and contractors to ensure safe delivery.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and organisation to high standards.
• Follow RAMS and lock-off procedures for safety.
