Job summary

INEOS Chemicals Grangemouth Limited is seeking an Area Authority to manage the Control of Work processes on FPS North assets, including isolations, permits, SORAs and ORAs. The role requires leadership, safety focus, and effective coordination on offshore Unity or onshore Cruden Bay locations.

The post involves 12-hour shifts on rotation, with a two weeks on/three weeks off pattern, and daily preparation of CoW documentation to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in oil and/or gas plant operations with a track record in Control of Work.
• Strong safety leadership and ability to drive safe behaviours on site.
• Excellent communication across organisational levels and ability to lead a team on remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare required CoW documentation to execute scope.
• Authorize isolations to commence and issue permits.
• Manage on-site activities safely and efficiently on rotation days.
• Lead CoW processes and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Demonstrate strong ownership, rigour and proactive problem solving on site.
