Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in designing and architecting Control M solutions, with a focus on strategic planning and roadmap development.
  • Deep technical expertise with Control M, including plugin integrations and automated testing frameworks.
  • Broad IT infrastructure knowledge, coupled with understanding of cybersecurity compliance and operational resilience.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing organizational change within complex IT environments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and implementing open telemetry.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline integration, and process automation.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., BMC Certified Associate/Professional in Control M 21x) or equivalent experience are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive strategy by creating a holistic end-to-end Control M strategy aligning vendor insights with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap for 1-3 years, outlining priorities and future enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Control M vendor, influencing their roadmap based on internal feedback.
  • Collaborate with business units and IT stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and technical briefings on strategy and architecture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to facilitate collaboration.
  • Design testing strategies, including automated functional and non-functional testing, with a focus on regression, performance, and stress testing.
  • Architect proactive monitoring frameworks using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, and ThousandEyes, incorporating open telemetry.
  • Automate critical operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Feature Innovation & Self-Service Enablement:

  • Identify and prioritize new features based on user and management feedback.
  • Develop self-service tools and automated solutions to enhance user experience and ensure compliance.
  • Define DevOps strategies, including CI/CD pipelines, to support agile development.
  • Establish and implement cybersecurity frameworks tailored to Control M environments, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
