About the role
Working with and assisting Process Control Engineers, you’ll be responsible for the management of the Operational Technology (OT) networks and infrastructure at Drax Power Station. You’ll be a subject matter expert, accountable for technical excellence and leadership.
The role will involve managing multiple windows-based OT systems ensuring personnel safety, plant availability and integrity are always maintained. You’ll liaise with the cyber-security team to ensure the assets are cyber secure and complying with the latest NIS regulation requirements.
You’ll also ensure that all current and future projects correctly comply with the OT network requirements as well as being secure by design.
Who we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the below:
- Proven experience of network design, implementation and maintenance
- Demonstrable experience in network management, configuring managed switches and firewalls
- Proven experience in Active Directory, Domains and Trusts
- Experience of virtual servers and their management and maintenance
- Understanding of different demands associated with the use of IT technology in an OT environment
- Experience of working with cyber-security and awareness of the NIS regulation
