About the Role:

Working with and assisting Process Control Engineers, you’ll be responsible for the management of the Operational Technology (OT) networks and infrastructure at Drax Power Station. You’ll be a subject matter expert, accountable for technical excellence and leadership.

The role involves managing multiple Windows-based OT systems, ensuring personnel safety, plant availability, and integrity are maintained. You’ll liaise with the cyber-security team to ensure assets are cyber secure and compliant with the latest NIS regulation requirements.

You’ll also ensure that all current and future projects meet OT network requirements and are secure by design.

Who we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Experience in network management, configuring managed switches and firewalls
  • Experience with Active Directory, Domains, and Trusts
  • Knowledge of virtual servers and their management
  • Understanding of IT technology demands in an OT environment
  • Experience with cyber-security and awareness of NIS regulation
