Job Title:Control and Instrument Technician
Location: London, UK
Salary: Competitive, plus benefits

Role Overview:
TheControl and Instrument Technician will be responsible for scheduling and delivering maintenance activities to ensure efficient plant operations. This role supports compliance with statutory legislation and company standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to optimise resource use and align with planned plant outages

  • Perform maintenance to meet or exceed business key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Support the site in maintaining full compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards

  • Analyse plant issues and provide technical advice to assist maintenance decision-making

  • Manage contracts and contractors, monitoring safety and progress against targets

  • Support the identification and implementation of improvements affecting plant performance

Requirements:

  • HNC, ONC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline

  • Experience in power generation or a related industry

  • Proven experience managing contractors to ensure safe and timely completion of work

  • Flexible and able to support work outside normal hours as required

  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when necessary
