Job summary

Spire Recruitment Ltd in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the contracts team responsible for installation and site-based works. You will plan, coordinate and deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining strong client and supply-chain relationships.

The role requires excellent communication, site lifting operations experience, and proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, CAD). Travel between sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience leading site installation planning and delivery.

• Proven ability to work on multiple sites and travel.
• Experience with RAMS and CAD for pre-cast projects.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office suite.

£60,000 - £65,000 per annum (negotiated on experience)

40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to be the overall lead of our clients' contracts team that delivers the installation and site-based arm of the company. The candidate will have overall responsibility for the efficient planning and delivery of all construction works on site. This will include supporting every member within the contracts department to achieve installation works within agreed clients programme and on budget. You will be self-motivated, have leadership skills and able to work to tight deadlines but also be a good team player. You need to have a high level of communication skills, both verbally and technically, as daily contact with clients and the supply chain is required, meaning strong customer service skills are essential. In addition, good IT knowledge is required, especially with Microsoft packages and technical pre-cast knowledge would be essential. Training will be given for the individual to understand the product portfolio and company procedures. This is primarily a site-based job role and the candidate must be flexible and prepared to spend time on the road travelling between sites.

The Role

Candidate Profile

Ideally the successful candidate will possess the following qualifications/experience:

• Excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Practical site based lifting operations experience.
• Excellent computer literacy (word/excel/email/CAD for producing RAMS).
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Ideally a current CPCS (A61) or NPORS (N401) Appointed Person.
• Pre-cast installation knowledge and experience.
• Full clean driving licence.
