Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd in East Devon seeks a Contract Manager to lead the operational delivery of our Response and Maintenance contracts. You will ensure projects run on time and within budget while building strong client and team relationships.

You will inspire and develop your team, manage recruitment and onboarding, and prioritise health and safety across all sites. A practical, hands-on leader with strong IT and Excel skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

Leadership and people development experience with hands-on delivery.
Strong planning, organisation, and multi-project coordination skills.
Health and safety management experience across multiple sites or projects.
Proficient with IT systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

Lead the operational delivery of the Response/Maintenance workstreams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Inspire and develop the team, including apprentices, through hands-on leadership and coaching.
Build internal and external relationships to enable successful contract delivery.
Oversee recruitment and onboarding, ensuring effective integration of new team members.
Prioritise health and safety and ensure measures are in place across sites.
Manage resources and reporting, coordinating subcontractors, materials and plant.
