Job summary

Preventr Services Group in London is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple passive fire protection contracts across London and surrounding regions, ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, on time and within budget.

You will lead Site Managers, Supervisors and Subcontractors, manage programmes and costs, build strong client relationships, conduct site inspections and ensure accurate certification and documentation while upholding the highest fire safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Contracts Manager in passive fire protection.
• Strong knowledge of fire stopping, fire doors and compartmentation.
• Experience managing multiple projects and site teams.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• SMSTS/SSSTS and IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications preferred.
• Experience in social housing, healthcare or commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contracts involving fire stopping, fire door installation and remediation, compartmentation works, cavity barriers and related fire safety measures.
• Lead and support Site Managers, Supervisors, Operatives and Subcontractors.
• Ensure works comply with Building Regulations and fire safety legislation.
• Manage project programmes, labour resources and operational performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits and compliance reviews.
• Monitor project costs, variations, valuations and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and principal contractors.
• Ensure certification, compliance records and project documentation are completed accurately.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across all sites.
