Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited currently seek an experienced Contracts Manager to deliver multiple mechanical services projects across the South East from their Gillingham office. You will oversee installation teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works meet programme, safety and quality standards.

The role focuses on HVAC, plant rooms and pipework installations within schools and educational facilities, with responsibility for 3-6 live sites and client liaison throughout project

Qualifications

• Previous Contracts Management experience within mechanical building services, HVAC or pipework installations - essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 3-6 live mechanical services projects across the South East.
• Oversee HVAC, plant room, pipefitting and pipework distribution installations.
• Supervise installation teams, typically around four operatives per project.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and project resources.
• Plan and monitor project programmes to ensure works are delivered on schedule.
• Liaise with clients, site teams and other contractors throughout project delivery.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular project progress updates.
• Monitor project costs, variations and overall commercial performance.
