Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is helping a leading principal contractor recruit a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple façade and external envelope projects across the UK.

The role combines hands-on site leadership with strategic programme delivery from pre-construction through handover, with nationwide travel on offer. The successful candidate will drive site teams, maintain safety standards and manager client relationships, with a salary of £80,000–£100,000 DOE and a hybrid/remote working

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Experience delivering projects in façade, cladding, roofing or external envelope.
• Previous Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Manager role.
• Proven end-to-end project delivery from pre-construction to completion.
• Strong site management and construction delivery background.
• Confident leading Site Managers and subcontractors.
• Understanding of programmes, sequencing, logistics, quality and H&S.
• Commercial awareness with contract costs.
• Excellent client-facing communication.
• Hands-on, proactive on-site approach.
• Experience in a specialist contractor or principal contractor environment preferred.

The successful Contracts Manager will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of multiple projects across the UK. This is a genuinely hands‑on Contracts Manager position, combining senior project oversight with a strong presence on site and direct involvement in driving teams, programme and delivery. Contracts Manager - Job Overview

• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple façade, cladding and external envelope projects
• Provide strong day-to-day leadership across site teams, driving programme, productivity and construction methodology
• Maintain a visible and hands‑on presence on site, working directly with Site Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and operatives

Contracts Manager - Requirements

• Willingness to travel nationwide
• Strong experience delivering projects within façade, cladding, roofing or the wider external envelope sector
• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Manager or equivalent
• Proven experience managing projects from pre‑construction through to completion
• Strong site management and construction delivery background
• Confident leading Site Managers, subcontractors and wider project teams
• Strong understanding of programmes, sequencing, logistics, quality and health & safety
• Commercially aware with a good understanding of contract performance and project costs
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
• A hands‑on, proactive approach with the ability to get out on site and drive issues through to resolution
• Experience within a specialist contractor or principal contractor environment preferred
