Job summary

DLP Northern Services is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to own the delivery of client contracts, ensuring projects run safely, on programme and within budget. The role acts as the main point of contact for clients and provides leadership to Site Managers, Project Managers, and subcontractors.

You will monitor performance, manage risks and opportunities, and drive improvements while maintaining high standards of health and safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract or operational management within construction, housing or related environments.
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.
• Proven leadership with ability to coach and develop teams.
• Highly organised with ability to prioritise and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of client contracts, ensuring KPIs, quality, programmes and contractual requirements are met.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, residents, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Lead and support operational teams, ensuring resources and subcontractors are effectively planned and managed.
• Monitor contract performance, costs, risks and opportunities, taking corrective action where required.
• Work with the Commercial Team to ensure profitability and protect contractual entitlements.
• Ensure works comply with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
