Job summary

Bimplus in London is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to end of defects liability. You will manage contract conditions, risk, programme, cost reporting and client meetings, driving consistent delivery across high-profile schemes.

The role requires extensive civil experience, NEC contracts knowledge, and qualifications such as HNC/HND/Degree (or equivalent), SMSTS, CSCS.

Qualifications

• Extensive civil/water project management experience.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts, Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms.
• HNC/HND/Degree level (or equivalent) and relevant certifications.
• Experience with pre-qualification and tendering for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Strong people management, problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from pre-construction to end of Defects Liability Period.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and ISO 45001.
• Monitor programme, quality, progress and financial performance.
• Attend client meetings and produce progress reports.
• Work with commercial teams on budgets, variations and forecasting.
• Drive consistent delivery standards and continuous improvement.
