Job summary

Blaymires Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee bespoke high-end residential projects near Salisbury, Wiltshire. The role requires managing contracts, programmes and budgets across complex refurbishments and new builds, with close liaison to private clients, architects and consultants.

You will lead project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating Site Managers and subcontractors, while maintaining safety, quality and schedule, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing contracts for high-end residential projects.
• Strong grasp of traditional construction methods, especially historic buildings.
• Experience handling listed building consents and related requirements.
• Knowledge of JCT contracts and contractor responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bespoke residential projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Coordinate with Site Managers, QS and subcontractors.
• Prepare and monitor construction programmes with milestones and resources.
• Lead Site Managers and coordinate trades and suppliers.
• Monitor costs with QS, manage changes and keep commercial control.
• Identify risks and resolve progress, quality or budget issues.
• Ensure health and safety compliance with CDM 2015.
• Chair meetings with clients and consultants and issue actions.
• Maintain project records and contractual communications.
