Job summary

Blaymires Recruitment Ltd near Salisbury is seeking a highly capable Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on prestigious residential schemes across the South of England. You will manage project costs, procurement and final accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while upholding the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within main contracting, high-end residential construction or restoration.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Experience using JCT contracts and commercial procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, costs and commercial reporting.
• Handle subcontractor procurement, valuations, payments, variations and final accounts.
• Prepare client applications, variations and contractual notices.
• Monitor commercial performance and identify potential risks.
• Mentor and support junior surveyors.
