Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead multiple commercial drylining contracts across the South Coast, South Wales and the wider South West. Based in Bristol, you will oversee project delivery, safety and programme adherence.

You will manage costs, valuations and variations, build relationships with clients and subcontractors, and support site teams to maintain high standards of delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within commercial drylining, ideally with a specialist subcontractor.
• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager or similar senior construction role.
• Strong commercial management capabilities, including cost control, valuations, variations and profitability.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and managing site-based teams.
• Excellent understanding of drylining systems, specifications and construction programmes.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West, South Coast and South Wales.

• Coordinate labour, materials and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Identify commercial risks and operational challenges, implementing solutions to maintain performance.
• Monitor health and safety, contractual compliance and project reporting across the regional portfolio.
