Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to lead multiple drylining contracts across the South Coast, South Wales and wider South West. The role requires strong commercial acumen, leadership of site teams and active management of safety, programme and budget.

The ideal candidate has extensive drylining experience, proven track record in senior construction roles, and the ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders across a regional portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple commercial drylining contracts across the South Coast, South Wales and wider South West.
• Manage project performance: safety, programme and budget.

• Build and maintain relationships with main contractors, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate labour, materials and resources for efficient delivery.
• Identify risks and implement mitigations to maintain performance.
• Monitor health, safety, and contractual reporting across the regional portfolio.

Location: South West England
Salary: £70,000-£75,000 plus car allowance

Bennett & Game are representing a leading specialist drylining contractor who are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their growing team.
The company delivers commercial drylining, plastering, suspended ceilings and associated interior systems across a range of construction projects. With an established presence in the sector and a strong pipeline of work, the business operates across the South Coast, South Wales and the wider South West.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong commercial drylining background to take responsibility for regional operations, oversee project delivery and support the continued success of an established specialist contractor.

Contracts Manager Position Overview

• Oversee multiple commercial drylining contracts across the South Coast, South Wales and wider South West.

Contracts Manager Position Requirements

• Extensive experience within commercial drylining, ideally with a specialist subcontractor.
• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager or similar senior construction role.
• Strong commercial management capabilities, including cost control, valuations, variations and profitability.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and managing site-based teams.
• Excellent understanding of drylining systems, specifications and construction programmes.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West, South Coast and South Wales.
