Job summary

Building Careers UK is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for the electrical/telecommunications sector to lead delivery from inception to completion.

You will oversee commercial and contractual aspects, manage client relationships and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Our client is a well-established and growing organisation operating within the electrical and telecommunications sector. Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated contracts professional to take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects and managing the commercial, operational and contractual aspects of each contract. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing contracts from award through to completion.

About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or similar role, within the electrical, telecommunications, construction or utilities sector with experience delivering retail projects.

You will be commercially aware, highly organised and confident managing projects, clients and subcontractors. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have:
