Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Contracts Manager for a Leeds or Warrington base to oversee multiple projects across the North. You will manage pre-construction and delivery, ensuring programmes, quality, health & safety and commercial objectives are met.

You'll support bid and pre-construction teams by reviewing opportunities, developing methodologies and programmes, and contributing to successful tender submissions across healthcare, education, government and heritage sectors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction sector
• Strong understanding of refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Experience working on public sector projects or frameworks
• Successful involvement in bid-winning and tender submissions
• Strong programme management and project planning skills
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities

£65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Private Healthcare Leeds or Warrington Base Public Sector, Fit-Out & Refurbishment Projects Across the M62 Corridor, North East & South Midlands

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking for a role where you can genuinely influence project delivery and help win future work?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established national construction and fit-out contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of public sector projects across healthcare, education, government and heritage sectors. Due to continued growth and an upcoming vacancy within the team, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects while playing a key role in tender and bid activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both operational delivery and pre-construction involvement, with the chance to work on refurbishment, fit-out, decarbonisation and public sector framework projects.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, you will take responsibility for managing multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programmes, quality, health & safety and commercial objectives are achieved.

You will also support the bid and pre-construction teams by reviewing opportunities, developing methodologies and programmes, and contributing to successful tender submissions.

Essential Experience

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction sector
• Strong understanding of refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Experience working on public sector projects or frameworks
• Successful involvement in bid-winning and tender submissions
• Strong programme management and project planning skills
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities
• Good understanding of construction contracts and delivery methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
