Ambitions Personnel is recruiting a Commercial Construction Contracts Manager to lead multiple projects from tender through to handover in Thurmaston, near Leicester. You will manage delivery, safety and quality while coordinating with site teams, clients and subcontractors.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, leadership and a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget across diverse sites, with emphasis on SHEQ procedures and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experienced Contracts Manager for construction projects.

• Delivery of projects on time, within budget and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tender programmes, logistics plans and supporting documentation.
• Participate in tender adjudications.
• Support client interviews where required.
• Chair and attend Pre-Start Meetings.
• Develop, implement and maintain company SHEQ and project procedures.
• Maintain awareness of project scope and any variations.
• Manage and support Site Managers across multiple sites.
• Chair weekly progress meetings with trades.
• Place purchase orders and sign off contractor invoices.
• Set up site filing systems, including all H&S documentation.
• Prepare and monitor construction programmes.
• Ensure all new sites comply with HSE guidelines and company SHEQ policies.
• Conduct and record site inspections to ensure procedural compliance.
• Monitor quality on site and liaise with subcontractors to rectify defects.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Attend client project meetings.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experiencedCommercial Construction Contracts Manager to join a well-established and growing construction business. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially aware professional to take ownership of multiple projects from tender through to successful handover.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, subcontractors and clients, playing a key leadership role across operational, commercial and compliance aspects of each project.

Key Responsibilities

Tendering
