Job summary

PPM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for a construction role based in Norwich with travel across Norfolk and East Anglia. You will oversee multiple projects, ensuring safe delivery on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in pre-construction to handover, strong commercial awareness, and excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A full UK driving licence is required.

• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks and challenges.
• Chair progress meetings and provide regular reports to senior management.

Contracts Manager - Construction

Location: Norwich (with travel throughout Norfolk, East Anglia and surrounding areas)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: 55k - 60k + Car Allowance/Company Vehicle + Benefits

Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their expanding team.

Project Portfolio

Projects typically include:

• Education facilities and school extensions
• Restoration and refurbishments
• Commercial office developments and fit‑outs

• Public sector and local authority projects
• New‑build and refurbishment contracts ranging from £500k to £5m

The Role

Reporting directly to the Construction Director, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• SMSTS, CSCS and relevant construction qualifications preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
