Contracts Manager – Exeter

Exciting Opportunity for a Contracts Manager in Exeter! Join a regional construction company in Devon as a Contracts Manager, overseeing a variety of projects to the highest standards. Projects include refurbishments, commercial new builds, and extensions in leisure, industrial, and education sectors, ranging from £10k to over £10m in value.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide regular project performance reports, including a full monthly report.
2. Take responsibility for managing multiple site teams.
3. Provide information for tender submissions.
4. Understand and deliver contracts within the agreed contract conditions and timeframes.
5. Line management of Senior Site Managers and their site teams; monitor performance, provide leadership, direction, and guidance.
6. Provide pre-construction and pre-contract advice to ensure the smooth running of site activities.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience with Programming, JCT, and NEC Contracts, and design management.
• Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Knowledge of building materials, components, and regulations.
• SMSTS and CSCS cards.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
