Job description

Looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a leading maintenance contractor in North West Leicestershire on a large Day to Day repairs contract.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and lead social housing day-to-day repairs and maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop project plans, budgets, and schedules for repair works.
  3. Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of operatives and subcontractors for reactive and planned repair tasks.
  4. Oversee contract administration for repairs and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, within social housing repairs and maintenance.
  2. Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and motivating teams involved in responsive repairs.
  3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, including residents.
  4. Proficiency in project management and scheduling software and tools.
  5. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  6. Strong coordination skills for managing subcontractors.
