Job summary

ARC Group in Cambridge is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-value commercial construction projects within a Tier 1 main contractor environment. You will provide strategic leadership, drive delivery safely, profitably, and to the highest standards across multiple live sites.

The role requires a track record delivering major schemes (GBP100m+) and a strong focus on commercial management, client relationships, and stakeholder engagement to ensure consistent delivery

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within a Tier 1 main contractor.
• Proven background delivering major construction schemes in excess of GBP100m.
• Proven background delivering education sector projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and strategic leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead multiple project teams simultaneously while maintaining exceptional standards.
• Forward-thinking, solutions-focused approach to large-scale project delivery.

We are partnering with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-value commercial construction projects. This is a senior leadership role suited to an individual with a proven track record managing complex schemes at scale.

The Role:

As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for multiple live projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest standards. You will provide strategic oversight, support project teams, and act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the organisation s regional operations.
