About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Contracts Manager to join a growing renewables division within a respected multidisciplinary consultancy. Focused on the delivery of commercial solar PV, battery storage, and integrated energy systems, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on taking ownership of projects from contract award to completion.
You’ll be responsible for managing multiple contracts across the UK, ensuring efficient delivery, cost control, safety, and quality. This is a client-facing role that requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to coordinate internal and external teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage full project lifecycles including procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, and documentation
• Administer and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
• Oversee grid applications and planning compliance as needed
• Lead regular progress meetings to align technical, delivery, and commercial functions
• Ensure site-wide H&S and QA compliance
• Monitor and manage budgets, variations, and payment processes
• Contribute to tendering, estimating, and pre-construction activities
• Drive process improvements and subcontractor performance

What We’re Looking For
• Experience managing contracts in solar PV, M&E, or construction (commercial renewables preferred)
• Solid understanding of JCT or NEC contracts and CDM regulations
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites
• SMSTS, CSCS or similar construction certifications are desirable
