Job summary

GW Power is recruiting a Contracts Manager to take ownership of a varied portfolio of mechanical and electrical projects. You’ll oversee between two and five live projects, typically valued from £100,000 upwards.

As Contracts Manager, you'll lead each contract from initial handover through to completion, the defects liability period and final retention. Reporting to the Contracts Director, you'll work collaboratively with GW Power's mechanical, electrical and commercial teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing contracts from handover to completion.
  • Background in mechanical, electrical or building services projects preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts, priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from handover through to completion.
  • Monitor project programmes, budgets, specifications and delivery risks.
  • Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and designers.
  • Manage client communication, site progress, defects and reporting.
  • Control variations, costs, invoices and overall project performance.
