Job summary

Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer for a 3-month interim role in Oxfordshire with hybrid working. You will manage a diverse commercial contracts and procurement caseload and support grant funding and subsidy control, while assisting governance and contract management across departments.

Applicants should have 5+ PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement law in England & Wales, with detailed knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement law (England & Wales).
• Detailed knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023.
• Local government experience is highly desirable.

• Handle own Commercial Contracts and Procurement law caseload from start to completion.
• Support departments on grant funding and subsidy control.

Service Care Solutions is working with a growing local authority, based in Oxfordshire, which is seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer to join their legal team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy and collaborative legal team on a varied caseload of commercial and public sector contracts. Role: Contracts Lawyer Contract Length: 3 months ongoing Umbrella Rate: £50 - £60ph PAYE Inc. Rate: £43.82 - £52.51ph Location: Oxfordshire – hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle your own Commercial Contracts and Procurement law caseload from start to completion.
• Supporting departments on grant funding and subsidy control.
• Assisting with governance and contract management issues where required.

Key Requirements:

• 5 or more years of PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement law as a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX in England and Wales.
• Detailed knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023 is essential.
• Previous local government experience is highly desirable.
