Job summary

Six Ventures Ltd. is seeking a Contracts Engineer to manage site surveys across the UK & Ireland, design ductwork systems in AutoCAD, and coordinate projects from inception to completion.

You will liaise with clients, suppliers and installation teams while preparing RAMS and ensuring high-quality customer service throughout every project. The role requires experience in contracts-based engineering, knowledge of dust extraction and ventilation systems, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering or contracts-based roles with knowledge of dust extraction and ventilation systems.
• Proficiency in ductwork design and RAMS preparation.
• Strong communication and customer liaison skills.

Contracts Engineer

Are you an experienced Contracts Engineer / Project Engineer with a background in industrial ventilation?

We’re working with a growing engineering business, and due to continued growth they are looking to add an experienced Contracts Engineer to their team.

This is a varied role combining site surveys, technical design, project coordination and customer liaison, with projects ranging from smaller ductwork modifications through to complete filter installations.

The Role

• Carry out site surveys across the UK & Ireland
• Measure and assess customer requirements
• Produce AutoCAD drawings for projects
• Design and modify ductwork systems
• Order parts and materials required for projects
• Prepare RAMS
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and installation teams
• Coordinate projects through to completion
• Track completed works for invoicing
• Provide excellent customer service throughout each project

About You

You’ll ideally have experience in a similar engineering or contracts-based role, with knowledge of:

• Dust extraction systems
• Ductwork design
• Industrial ventilation / extraction systems
• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Office 365
• CRM systems
• RAMS and site-based engineering
• Customer and supplier liaison

You’ll also need:

• P602 qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK & Ireland

Occasional weekend work and overnight stays will be required.
