We are looking for a qualified Solicitor with substantial experience in this area of law. This role offers the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills through varied and quality work.
You will work as part of a team of Contract Lawyers, providing proactive legal advice on issues including Public Contract Regulations, Company law, Subsidy Control, NEC's and JCT construction Contracts, among others. You will handle a full and demanding caseload.
Senior Lawyers will participate in team management and deputise for the Principal Solicitor, contributing to the delivery of high-quality legal services.

The role is hybrid; remote work will be considered. Occasional office attendance may be required, with the candidate expected to collect their laptop from Reigate on the first day.
The role involves managing a team of lawyers, providing leadership, supervision, and expert legal advice to the County Council, its members, officers, and committees.
You will contribute to the wider management of Legal Services and exemplify the council's values and behaviors.
You will manage a varied caseload and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
The role supports the reduction of external legal support reliance and may involve advocacy and assisting the Monitoring Officer in legal and procedural matters.
You will also contribute to staff training on legal issues and emerging topics.
