Job description

Grant Palmer Ltd is a £4m bus company serving Bedfordshire. We're locally owned, financially secure, and progressive.

We run buses right across Bedfordshire and are looking for new bus drivers to join the team. A vacancy has arisen for a contract works bus driver.

You will cover our flagship school service, with mobile ticketing in place and high customer care standards required. Once your school service is concluded, you will finish the duty with a public bus journey back to our depot in Flitwick. On Mondays and Fridays, you will cover journeys on our private works contract for our prestigious client, including their popular shuttle bus service at lunchtime before commencing your school journey and public bus journey back to Flitwick. During school holidays, we can guarantee work will be available if required.

Full training is provided to the right applicant. We're looking for someone with customer care skills, high driving standards, and flexibility. Due to the nature of the route and bus used, you will need large double-decker experience.
