Job summary

Magic Words Therapy Limited is seeking Speech and Language Therapists for flexible zero-hours roles with evening and weekend opportunities. The work covers paediatric caseloads across London (Archway), St Albans, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Cambridge and Birmingham, with some travel for outreach.

RCSLT and HCPC registered therapists who are fully qualified are encouraged to apply; travel outside London may be required for outreach clinics.

Qualifications

• RCSLT and HCPC registered fully qualified Speech & Language Therapists.
• Experience with paediatric caseload; some adult work.
• Able to drive and travel to clinics outside London for outreach.
• Evening and weekend availability on a zero-hours contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and therapy for children with speech, language and communication needs.
• Deliver services across evenings and weekends.
• Travel to clinics within reasonable distances for outreach settings.
• Maintain DBS/professional registrations as required.

Job description

Contract type / salary:
Zero-hours contract with flexible evening and weekend working opportunities. We are specifically seeking Speech and Language Therapists who are available to work outside standard school and business hours. Opportunities are available across Levels 1, 2 and 3, with hourly rates dependent on qualifications and experience.

Location:
Vacancies are available across London (Archway), St Albans, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Cambridge and Birmingham. The number of appointments available in each location will vary according to local demand and service requirements.

About the Role:
RCSLT and HCPC registered; fully qualified Speech & Language Therapists. Experience and passion for supporting clients of all ages with a broad range of communication needs. Fully licensed car driver with access to a car will be required for clinic locations outside of London, as this role may require some travel within reasonable distances for outreach appointments and settings.

Please note: we are a predominantly paediatric service with a well‑established, diverse children’s caseload. Our adult provision is growing and developing. Applicants interested in a mixed post should be aware that the caseload is currently weighted towards paediatrics, with some adult work.
