Job description

Are you somebody who can make a real difference to people's lives?
Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you won’t just be running standard assessments; you will be an integral part of a wrap‑around clinical team, designing and implementing functional communication programs that make a real‑world difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment & Intervention: Deliver formal and informal communication assessments for a diverse caseload (including autism, developmental delays, and complex communication needs).
  • MDT Collaboration: Work hand‑in‑hand with our Behaviour Analysts, and PBS specialists to create seamless, integrated intervention plans.
  • AAC Implementation: Assess, implement, and monitor Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems (low and high‑tech) to give everyone a voice.
  • Training & Empowerment: Provide coaching and training to parents, caregivers, schools, and our internal therapy assistants to ensure consistency of care.
  • Dynamic Practice: Deliver therapy across a variety of settings, including our specialised clinic, client homes, schools, and via telehealth.
What we can offer you
  • Fully supported and paid training
  • Career progression opportunities to complete a variety of courses including Level 3 – Level 5 Positive Behaviour Support qualification
  • Regular support from a qualified Behaviour Analyst
  • 6 weekly individual supervisions with a focus on well‑being
  • Yearly team weekends away

We genuinely care about our team’s well‑being and professional growth. When you join Skybound, you get:

  • Unmatched Collaboration: The chance to learn from BCBAs, and PBS experts every single day.
  • Clinical Freedom: Time to actually get to know your clients and deliver high‑quality, unhurried care.
  • CPD & Training: External training opportunities, alongside internal cross‑disciplinary mentoring.
  • Well‑being Support: A supportive, friendly team culture with regular social events and mental health support.

At Skybound Therapies, we don’t just provide therapy; we transform lives. We are a passionate, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred behavioural and therapy services for children and adults with diverse speech, language, communication, and behavioural needs.

We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, blending Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to unlock the full potential of every individual we serve. If you want to move away from rigid, siloed working and move toward creative, holistic, and deeply rewarding therapy, you belong here.
