We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation.Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.We are looking for talented a Contract Systems Engineer to support the delivery of an aerospace project. This is ideal for a contractor who is an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and producing high-quality outputs.*Responsibilities:** Supporting analysis of customer requirements and management throughout the development lifecycle* Assisting or authoring of requirement specifications for flow down to sub-systems, suppliers and/or customer approval* Authoring/supporting interface control documents and ensure alignment with internal and customer requirements* Collaborating with the simulation, analysis and design teams to assist architect the system* Evaluating the suitability of the system architecture and make recommendations as appropriate* Supporting customers, partners and suppliers with systems integration of electric motors and controllers* Develop system test strategies showing traceability and compliance to customer and system requirements* Produce Validation and Verification evidence to support certification* Support resource estimation and risk management* Familiar aerospace safety analysis techniques *Skills and experience required:** Degree or equivalent in electrical, systems engineering (or other relevant technical domain)* Demonstrated experience of systems engineering principles throughout system/product design development and delivery* Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods and simulation using tools such as Cameo and Simulink* Experience with requirements and lifecycle management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, codeBeamer* Ability to deal with system design complexity and degree of ambiguity* Creative problem solver, with a logical approach to implementing solutions* Good verbal and written communication skills* A flexible approach to work with the desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment within a small company* Self-motivated with the determination to succeed* UK driving licence and be available to support visits to supplier sites. *Desirable:** Knowledge of motor control algorithms and implementationIf you are ready to help shape the future of clean aviation, we want to hear from you.
