The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Electrical Manufacturing Engineering team to develop, improve, and support the operations, manufacturing processes and equipment to enable volume production of our products to customers.*K**ey responsibilities will include:** Evaluating manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, testing, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators* Supporting manufacturing demand by relieving bottlenecks and problem-solving production constraints; attending breakdowns and reacting efficiently to escalation from manufacturing teams* Developing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors* Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout* Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes* Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labour, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements* Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends* Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests* Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations* Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; requesting special service* Complete improvement and development projects by training and guiding other members of the team.*Skills and experience required:** Previous proven experience working within a manufacturing environment* Good understanding of continuous improvement methods and lean techniques* Familiar with process techniques and documentation such as FMEAs, process flows, work instructions, control plans etc.* Hands-on experience with bespoke equipment, tooling, and automation* Good understanding of design for assembly and manufacturing constraints for high-volume manufacture* Confident with both internal and external customers and suppliers, able to detail requirements and understand issues* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams* Creative problem-solving abilities with an analytical approach to implementation,* Results-orientated with the ability to deliver business value* Self-motivated with the determination to succeed* A flexible approach to work with the desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.*Desirable:** A degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent* Experience working within an automotive or aerospace Tier 1 environment* Experience using leading Kaizen events and six sigma projects.**Are you Evolito?**We’re driven by a shared passion for engineering excellence and sustainable mobility.
