This is ideal for a contractor who is an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and producing high-quality outputs.*Responsibilities:** Create comprehensive designs, drawings, and supporting documentation from high-level schemes to release, under guidance from Senior or Lead Engineers* Deliver well-resolved designs and accurate drawings on designs within the package of work* Document key design decisions in line with the System Development Plan* Meet tight timescales while maintaining quality and compliance* Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to assemble and validate tooling* Support build activities to meet or exceed delivery timelines* Ensure all outputs meet relevant aerospace standards and certification requirements*Skills and Experience Required:** Strong background in mechanical design within aerospace or high-integrity engineering environments* Proficiency in CAD tools and drawing standards* Experience supporting production builds and tooling development* Ability to work independently and deliver outcomes within defined timeframes.*Desirable:** Familiarity with aerospace certification and documentation practices.If you are ready to help shape the future of clean aviation, we want to hear from you.
