Job summary

idverde is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Portadown contract. You will help run day-to-day operations, supervise grounds maintenance teams, and ensure HSE compliance while delivering excellent client service. You will schedule works, check equipment, manage timesheets, mentor staff, and attend contract meetings.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within the grounds maintenance/landscaping industry is required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential, with Tractor Driving experience.
• Strong communication, client management and IT literacy skills.
• Act as on-call duty supervisor for weekend supervisory shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling works and coordinate resources according to contract specifications and workload.
• Ensure teams are prepared with tool and machinery requirements, conduct safety checks and order parts, materials, uniforms and PPE as needed.
• Build and maintain client relationships; attend weekly contract meetings as required.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring staff, monitoring progress, and leading by example.
• Monitor time and attendance and manage timesheets for payroll.
• Adhere to HR processes and manage employee relations issues with support as needed.
