Job summary

Grounds Care Group is seeking a Midlands-based Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee crews, ensure quality and safety, and manage daily on-site tasks across a patch. You will be hands-on part of the week, with protected time for briefing and problem solving.

You will lead Team Leaders and operatives, perform RAMS and safety checks, and drive continuous improvement on site while reporting to the Regional Manager. A UK driving licence is required, PA1/PA6 funding is available.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading grounds maintenance, landscaping or similar crews.
• Ability to uphold standards and manage people on site.
• PA1/PA6 training provided or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Perform morning crew checks on your patch every day.
• Conduct site quality checks and record scores weekly.
• Log conversations when issues arise and escalate on the same day.
• Decide daily tasking and on-site methods within RAMS; stop work if needed.
• Ensure visits occur in the scheduled window with timely job times.
• Champion safety with RAMS, daily van/HAVS checks, PPE and weekly briefings.
