Job description

Contract Supervisor - Grounds Maintenance
Kingston & Elmbridge Area | GBP33,500 per annum | Full Time - 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Contract Supervisor to support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of our ground's maintenance operations across the Kingston & Elmbridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected team and play a key role in maintaining beautiful public spaces.

The Role:

You'll be instrumental in the smooth and efficient delivery of our ground's maintenance services by:

* Assisting the Contract Management Team with effective scheduling and delivery of work.
* Leading and motivating the Service Delivery Team.
* Monitoring staff attendance, holidays and absence.
* Promoting a culture of health & safety by setting the standard yourself.
* Ensuring the security of vehicles, equipment, and tools.
* Upholding high standards of quality and customer care across all works.
* Maintaining discipline and professionalism within the team.
* Completing daily reports and operational paperwork.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

* Organised and experienced in leading teams or small crews.
* A confident communicator with natural leadership skills and enthusiasm.
* Ideally holding a horticultural qualification and familiar with Google Workspace and field management systems.
* Experienced in public open space maintenance with a focus on quality and service.
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple services and teams.
* A holder of a full, clean driving licence.
