The Role:

We’re currently recruiting a Stadium Senior Grounds Supervisor within our Stadium Grounds Department to help us take things to the next level.

Key responsibilities

• To be responsible for the efficient day-to-day maintenance of the pitch and surrounding landscape of the Club’s Stadium site
• To show proactiveness and to be able to work well within a team to deliver exceptional standards.
• To provide senior level support to both the Stadium Grounds and Deputy Grounds Managers.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of turf and artificial surfaces.
• Lead the wider team in the completion of tasks as set by the Stadium Grounds Manager and Deputy Stadium Grounds Manager
• Demonstrate a safe use of pedestrian and ride on machinery.
• Oversee the renovation of pitches and grass areas.
• Monitor pitches daily, record all appropriate information.
• Always ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to, adopting safe working practices.
• Assist with grow in and establishment procedures of turf pitch.
• Keep all equipment and materials in good condition. Report any damage or defects of equipment/machinery to the Head Mechanic.
• Keep up to date with all relevant industry developments.
• Monitor and maintain wash down facilities.
• Assist with the operation and repair of onsite irrigation.

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• PA1, 2 & 6 spraying certificates.
